Employment & Capacity
URBAN PSYCHOLOGIST can assess the difficulties and psychological aspects involved with employment stress and mental ability.
Using interviewing and questionnaires or tests, we can consider the cognitive state of the client, as well as treatment and the time they will need to adjust.
Employment and capacity assessments for individuals – and for litigation purposes – cover, but are not limited to, the following:
- Stress in the workplace: forms of stress derived from colleague relationships, including bullying and harassment.
- Discrimination: for example against sex, sexual preference, religion or disability.
- Health problems: issues that either physically or psychologically prevent a person going into, or carrying out, their work – for instance a lasting injury, or anxiety attacks.
- Dyslexia: specialist assessments of dyslexia in workplace problems, related to failure of a company to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act 2005.
